It requires secure and reliable operation in a high-availability environment, as any outage could have a direct and immediate impact on emergency medical teams, hospitals, and, most importantly, patient health.
Challenge: How to achieve the required resilience without high capital investment?
Building an on-premises solution with the required availability and resilience would require substantial upfront capital expenditure (CAPEX) and involve highly complex and demanding hardware maintenance. The challenge was to deliver a highly available solution using modern technologies that could overcome these barriers.
Solution: We designed dedicated project resources within the Government Cloud to enable the system to be deployed in the strictly regulated environment of the Government Cloud under the supervision of MIRRI, ensuring full compliance with Act No. 95/2019 Coll. on Information Technology in Public Administration. The architecture is built on modern, separate containerized services.
Emergency medical teams in the field use the EHR module on rugged tablets, featuring a certified interface with the eZdravie (NCZI) information system. The system can automatically retrieve data directly from medical devices, such as vital signs monitors and defibrillators, and send real-time patient information to hospitals via the AVÍZO module.

- Dynamic scalability and resilience: Thanks to the designed architecture, the system can dynamically scale performance during sudden increases in demand, such as mass-casualty incidents, while minimizing the risk of downtime.
- Financial efficiency: We eliminated the need for CAPEX investments in favor of transparent and predictable operating expenses (OPEX).
- Maximum security: Highly sensitive healthcare data is protected by centralized mechanisms including MFA, SIEM, and PAM, with unified auditing playing a key role in ensuring its protection.
We continuously innovate the system. We are preparing the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) modules for ECG analysis and a speech-to-text feature that will allow emergency medical teams to dictate patient medical histories directly by voice.
